这个题选E没错，但是为什么D不可以啊？

D的"writing about it"是个dangler modifier，后面应尽跟其修饰的historians而不是"it is..."

一般分词修饰语在句首，后面一句的主语就应该是发出分词动作的主语，没错。例如:
对：Having finished the assignment, Jill turned on the TV.
错：Having finished the assignment, the TV was turned on.

就是一句句子前半句如果用分词的话，后面要马上接上它的逻辑主语，而不能用IT 来代替啊？、
