如果申请defer的原因合理，即使被拒，应该不会影响再次申请的offer/scholarhsip，除非第二年申请人的pool turns out to be significantly better than this year's.

这个未必的，看各校的规定。我知道有个学校规定是，如果你申请defer被拒, 你的入学admission也会被收回。学校希望你要求defer的确是在走投无路的情况下。

i have a friend who deferred his wharton admission for one year and reapplied and was accepted by hbs. he ended up with hbs. but personally i dont think it is worth of one year to do this, but sometimes some ppl just have that strange obsession, if you don't let them try it, they might regret for life.

咱俩说得不矛盾，如果defer被拒，当年的admission自然被收回，但如果申请defer的原因合理，第二年再申时，给offer/scholarship的可能性还是很大的，除非第二年的pool变化很大。

mm 好可爱，那我就厚着脸皮说几句。1) Don't try to say too many things in one sentence. Keep your sentences short and simple. 2) Be aware of grammatical errors. 3) Be careful about your choice of words. "Stupid" is a pretty strong word. You don't want to use it that often.

Furthermore, thanks for your input, wawacd! I accept your point 2).
Point 1) & 3) are dismissed ;p but I will notice to avoid in the future. I am a rookie for MBA app, appreciating the big pool
