Thanks for the post, but unemployment reports are often misleading.  They only account for people who are actively looking for work.  So if you have been unemployed for too long and are no longer searching, you would not be included in the stats.  Same goes for underemployment.  There are people who can only find part time jobs that are 10 hrs a week or so, which may not be enough to even pay rent, but they are not "unemployed" - I suspect this to be the case for a lot of the middle states.

对，所以经济转好的时候，失业率反而会上升，因为以前很多已经放弃寻找工作的人，又出来尝试的找工了。。

H1b这个东西好奇怪。经济不好找不到工作，大把大把的H1b剩余。经济好，大家都有工作，结果H1b不够还得抽签。比如像2008年，仅仅1/3的人抽中了H1b。

因为找不到工作，所以没得资格申请H1B啊。。。。
