我这道题也选错了 更纠结的是在刘振民上做到原题居然给了C答案 后来查到刘振民上的是错的
言归正传 首先觉得D不如B简洁 而且补充出来的would有点问题 情态动词不能随便加的吧 其次it必须补出 因为不补出的话主语就变成了Archaeologists，Archaeologists to avoid being stolen，而逻辑主语应该是chalice 不知道这样解释你懂了没

谢谢你的回复。有关C、D选项的问题也基本清楚了。但我还是纠结在OG
给的解释中将D选项中的being与其它选项中的being区别开了，这里我很不明白~~~
