还是不明白，怎么是两个句子呢？我怎么看是carry，cost，get，allow and have 并列呢？这样的话，carry跟cost之间就不该有and。

因为第一句是陈述事实，而第二句是和别的比较，GMAT考逻辑啊逻辑！！！

然后把两句并起来，Minivans carry as many as seven passengers and, compared with most sport utility vehicles, minivans(补出的主语） cost less, get better gas mileage, allow passengers to get in and out more easily, and have a smoother ride.
这时前后两个句子的主语一样，于是省略第二个主语。

PS，如果前后并列是系动词的话系动词也要省略

而且这是为什么Passengers后面一定要有And的原因。如果没有and，不能很好的区分Compared的作用，就又犯了“夹心修饰”的错误。而有了and以后，compared的作用就很清楚了，是对前修饰。
