请教，4大咨询转local pe 申请MBA

如题，四大咨询manager，本打算出去读书，但现在有一个机会去local pe，不算很有名。很纠结，不知道，会不会影响申请时自己的background？请高人指教。

还是着眼于公司本身的发展吧，就算PE本身名气不大如果你能投出几个上市公司来一样可以写很多故事。

If PE is your career goal, why not (but then you'll have to deal with, as the guy above has mentioned, answering why you'll go to business school unless you work in that industry for another few years first to understand it).

If it isn't, then this might not make sense to an admissions office. I may not have been able to get into business school had I done a stint in PE, for instance, since it completely doesn't jive with my career goals.

都manager了工作至少5年了，除非PE给你很高的title，可以考虑过去干几年然后读个EMBA，要不然还不如出去读个MBA...好一点的PE还是MBA居多

顶，面临同样抉择，但被告知风险较大，项目少的话可能就会裁人了，朝不保夕，听上去似乎也不是特别正规的样子，不知如何选择，内心还是挺想去PE锻炼一下，不过也不知道能学到一些什么新的东西，能去得到些什么。

在四大如果生意不好也会被裁，只是现在市场没有那么down.但是去pe还要考虑后期再募集能不能搞来钱。有钱不怕没有项目。

现在恰恰相反，钱一摞一摞的，好项目很少。。。
