首先，应该很容易从主谓一致上排除A、B和D三个选项，大家的争议目前集中在C和E上：也就是用such as还是like之间的选择。
其次来看句子的原意：可回收产品，例如铝制品或者其他金属制品，的市场保持强劲……有的同学会认为C中commodities such as aluminum and other metals也对，意思就是“原材料例如铝和其他金属”嘛。的确，很多行业（例如equity analysis）是把金属及一些其他的基础材料叫作“commodity”，但是在本题中题干前面部分中出现的“recycled”一词，决定了不可能是原材料而必须是制成品。从常识上来讲金属本身并不能被判定为“可回收”或者“不可回收”，只有对金属制成品才能作这类的判断。比如我们可以指着百货店里的电饭锅说这是个可回收的铝锅，但是不可能去铝厂指着铝锭这么说，不是嘛？

因此recycled commodities such as aluminum and other metals从逻辑上来说就是错误的了。

这题我认为应该是B，这里的his并不是大家所认为的HD，而应该是指RB，即这个envision是RB的，而不是HD的。HD只是想去发现而已（that Davy hoped to found RB's envisioned new chemistry)。这里的also也不是楼上所说的“redundant”，而是必要的，因为all chemistry following RB所说的chemistry并不是RB的，所以这里加一个also，来表示后面的envision是RB的。

2、个人认为since RB表示包括RB在内都是davy要批判的。
