好温馨、好纯净的帖子~ 我有一个方法值得试一试：找丹佛在读或者毕业校友（该校友从事过GA或者相关工作，并且和负责老师比较熟悉），说服该校友对楼主的同学进行GA推荐。老美貌似很在乎熟人推荐这一套，有了推荐，下面就是走学校的程序，得到GA的机会会大不少啊。

这两个人都是负责Financial Aid的发放，我当初找Dean去Argue，结果Dean把邮件转发给他们了。但是没用，Allen的回复我贴在帖子里，希望对你们有帮助：


Congratulations again on your acceptance to the Master of Science in Finance program at the Daniels College of Business.  As you outline below, merit scholarship opportunities are very minimal at the present time.  However, if funds became available and you qualify for such funding, we will be sure to notify of your award.


DU就算给奖也是杯水车薪，我还是劝猫再试试其他路子……

其实你们可以预先算一算，即使给了6000USD的奖，再加上个GA……能有多少钱……
最后再拿保守估计的￥70W总开销减掉这些补助……

6000是每个学期还是每个年度呢？
GA的每月会有多少银子呢？我们现在还不是很清楚，所以想问一问。谢谢edmundshi提醒~~

Hi~支持你们并肩作战~
我今年也申了DU,不是MSF。他家的MSF因为5个quarter确实是贵。
我有这些建议啊：
1. 申请cholarship: 我觉得争取还是有希望的，数额似乎在3000刀~6000刀这个范围。我在网上曾经见过一个帖子，说一位同学争取到了DU的奖金，很遗憾找不到了，你们GOOGLE试试，也许有用。
2. 做打工的准备：还没有到那里，不知道在Denver能打工赚多少，有人说好像是一年七八万RMB。MSF读两年，打工的时间也长，我想不失为一个好来源。
3. 扩大信息源：上面朋友已经公布了很多邮箱了，我想你们也可以试试去renren, facebook上试试。另一个好途径：http://www.du-china.com/forum/ ---DU的中国学生学者会

我的想法是即使努力申到了奖，也不会太多，与高昂的学费相比真的是杯水车薪，而且我觉得LZ朋友的情况倾其所有去Dever也不太值，我看LZ朋友是1990年10月的，又是男生，先工作一年明年再申更好的，这样会不会好一些？
