这道题答案是B。而我有一点疑惑是：A 为什么不对，我查看了其他的资料，给出的解释 as old as 一样古老，那么就不可能出现2000 years. 所以排除了A。
如果照这样解释的话，那么这个句子还对吗？

有的解释上说，倍数 后面就不可以加上as ... as 句型，我认为不对，但是实在想不出什么道理。请牛牛解释一下，谢谢！

解题角度考虑下
如果是一样都是2000年应该是 are as nearly 2000 years old as ……
如果是2000提前，这样的话就只有B了
