可以理解PPEEMA的内心活动，在海外的你以及更多人出于最现实的考虑更需要一个光亮的中国人的形象，一个伟大坚实的祖国做后盾。但这一切能靠夜郎自大来完成？

深重的国民性问题不是你组个千人团去美国采购一堆LV就能改变的，中国人能自觉去捍卫别人说话的权利吗？中国人能具备独立思考，批判性思维的能力吗？

你如果认为读MBA如果只能学到战略、财报分析、博弈论什么的话，那还真是买椟还珠了。

如果你举这个捍卫人说话的权利为例子，那么你知道中国历史上汉唐宋的官制对这种权利的保护吗？你又知道有多少伊拉克人有这种权利呢？

独立思考、批判性思维，需要的是一个民族的自尊自立，不是诋毁就能够解决的，更不是学了一点点西方皮毛的人能够理解的

不知道别人，我读这个MBA，更深切地体会到尊重自己文化的重要，只有中国式的管理被西方人接受的时候，我们国家的企业才能真正成为强者

I thought only Canada was like this....

I guess other than a handful of major cities in North America, everywhere else is pretty much the same~~

That's why people like to travel around , cruise.... to places like caribbean, mexico, europe, africa, south america~~

Yeah, it's only interesting in the major cities. That's also because there are a decent amount of people there. Everywhere else in the US are suburbs, too few people to make it interesting. Unlike China, people is everywhere, haha.
I kind of understand what lz is saying, for those of us who lived in both China and US, we know that it is really hard to truly get involved into the US culture. Look around your friends, are Asians a majority or whites? For those of us who do, maybe a small percentages of bananas, probably never heard of this forum, and played pingpong....The rest of us, we all have some very strong culture ties to the mother land, which changes our perspective a little bit.
But if you fell a sleep while walking on the street you might run into a light pole or get hit by a car, lz have to be more careful next time
