自己感觉面得不好，最后我问对方我的chance，他说，your application looks good.

我问会不会还有二面，他说，如果还有问题会联系我，或者我有问题也可以联系他

是不是就是对我没什么兴趣？都是一些套话，一点也不热情

人家说academic people就是这样，对你有兴趣就很热情，没兴趣就很冷漠

如果是一个比较junior的老师面你的话，他或许也不好说些太firm的话。所以不见得是坏消息啊
btw，这是哪家的面试呀？

不要太担心拉~~每个学校,每个program,甚至每个教授的面试都是不一样的，之前拿到offer的同学有面试很仔细的，也有只问常规问题的， 所以放心吧~~毕竟拿到面试的机会就已经成功一半啦，耐心等待结果吧~~预祝早日拿到offer哦！

PS：记得面试后email back to appreciate it~~

我好像还没发过thank you note。。。以前找工作的时候发的确实没人回不过觉得这些细节和别人对你的profile的感兴趣程度比起来不算什么

我系主任跟我说过，他一天要收到三百封邮件，估计很多也都不回

其实拿到面试离拿到offer还很远，很多学校第一轮都是面二十几个人的

I don't think it is a definite signal. It really depends on the personality of the interviewer.;D But I guess sometimes you can sense positive information if they do reply your thank you letters.
Up till now, all my interviewers replied to my thank you letters. They simply replied something like "I enjoyed our conversation too" or "we'll get in touch shortly". I guess it might just be a way of manner.
