请申请Simon of Rochester录取的同学帮忙看看

元旦左右申请个Simon的注册后，觉得专业不太匹配就没继续申请。刚刚收到他们家一个Current Simon MBA Student 来的信，说是德国人，现在在New Jersey 找到了个工作做brand manager ， 语气挺诚恳的，不像广告，像是要一对一服务的。刚看了下Simon的Deadline， 3月15日还有轮，请问还有机会申请吗？谢谢!

他信上写着：

Dear ***,

Greetings from the Simon School!

My name is **** and I am a second year MBA student concentrating in brand management, strategy and pricing. Just like you, I am an international student, originally from Hamburg, Germany. Before joining Simon I worked in a demand planning role for a medical testing devices manufacturer. While I enjoyed my time in the operations management field, I also had a chance to interact with the product managers of my company. That’s when I discovered my passion for marketing. In 2008, I joined Simon’s full-time MBA program and I’ll be graduating this spring. After a couple of months of traveling, I will be starting as an assistant brand manager for a consumer packaged goods company in the New Jersey area.

Since you have started your application to the Simon School, I wanted to check in with you and see whether you have any questions about Simon’s programs, the admissions process or the life of a current Simon student. I am R1 applicant and get admitted with USD15,000 merit-based scholarship.

sometimes follow your intuition. At this stage, all you can do is go for it.
I dont think that I match with the school criteria either at first but I just gave it a try. In the end, the outcome is even better than I expected.

SIMON是第一个录取我的学校。我也曾经收到过类似的信，但是是一个二年级的在校生。另外，AD还推荐过一个也是BRAND MANAGEMENT的往届毕业生和我联系，台湾人，我也联系了，她也很热心。
SIMON力推他们的小班教学，强调紧密有效的校友圈。这信是他们MARKETING的一部分，但应该不算纯属广告。
我觉得你可以继续申请。
