173. Joan of Arc, a young Frenchwoman who claimed to be divinely inspired, turned the tide of English victories in her country by liberating the city of Orleans and she persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne.
she persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne
persuaded Charles VII of France in claiming his throne
persuading that the throne be claimed by Charles VII of France
persuaded Charles VII of France to claim his throne
persuading that Charles VII of France should claim the throne

答案是d我也选的d, 可是我总觉得persuade 应该和liberating并列,因为两者可以说明turned the tide of English victories in her country,可是没有persuading Charles VII of France to claim his throne这个选项,不知道我理解的对不对,请nn指正。

persuaded sbd to do sth. 固定搭配。
