UNC的那个项目时间压得很紧凑 从5月一直上到次年5月 之间几乎没休息，大部分人是直接从UNC的本科直接升上来的，国际学生占得貌似不到10%，according to the admission officer.

btw, 你bold part标出的那句，我是说unc在国内也没啥名气，可能名气比圣母在国内还要小，而且还是公立。I was trying to say dont just focus on the reputation within mainland of China. 但是如果这个项目不错，我觉得肯定值得念的。

UNC's a great school but I know almost nothing about the MAcc program. If I were the Big Four recruiter, I would look for if you would have 150 credit hours upon graduation, related internship/work experience, GPA, volunteer work. Your resume should be highly related. I am just curious how UNC's program would help its students establish convincing credibility in terms of accounting within such a short time period. I guess you'll probably start job hunting at the beginning of the program. However, you probably won't have many accounting credits on your transcripts. Lack of audit intern experience is another disadvantage. Just have no idea how it's gonna work out for you guys, especially international students.

谢谢你的回复啊~actually我想做财务分析方面的工作。我之前没有accounting related的实习，我的实习一个是finance里的sales，还有一个是商行。学分我毕业时是肯定够了 我本科毕业有140个学分。你说这样可以么....是不是非常at disadvantage啊

To be honest with you, the purpose of getting into MAcc is to get 150 credit hours, which are needed to set up for the CPA exam. 99% of MAcc graduates I've seen end up with public accounting firms. MAcc-->Financial analyst? Not so sure.

If you are a lawful U.S. resident, your intended path may be feasible. Other types of visa holders, it's really hard to say. Did you do your undergrad in U.S.? Have you had lots of international exposure? How many family connections can you use in U.S. to help you land a job? Many factors count. Anyway, you will find it out after you get into the program. Then you can share your thoughts with us.
