UNC's a great school but I know almost nothing about the MAcc program. If I were the Big Four recruiter, I would look for if you would have 150 credit hours upon graduation, related internship/work experience, GPA, volunteer work. Your resume should be highly related. I am just curious how UNC's program would help its students establish convincing credibility in terms of accounting within such a short time period. I guess you'll probably start job hunting at the beginning of the program. However, you probably won't have many accounting credits on your transcripts. Lack of audit intern experience is another disadvantage. Just have no idea how it's gonna work out for you guys, especially international students. |
