I had my interview with two alumnis in HK last week.
I scheduled both on a weekend in a coffee shop because I live in Shenzhen.
Both interviews were very similar in terms of questions:
1) Walk me through your resume 2) Why MBA 3) Why Insead 4) Why Now 5) What would you like to do 5 years down the road 6) What can you contribute to Insead 7) What would your coworkers describe you 8) How do you motivate team members 9) What do u think makes a good leader
First interviewer was a guy and was more probing than the second interviewer who was a woman. First interview lasted 45 minutes, and second around 1.5 hours. Both were very friendly. The first person started giving me tips on what to do after I get to Insead, so I am assuming that's a sign that he will recommend for me. The second person didn't give any clear signals. She told me her input might account for a very small % of my overall mark. So if I don't get in, write to her and she'll give me some feedback. Umm...
Anyways, hope this helps for any future interviewees |
