请教两个问题：

1，Duke的background verification大约在什么时候进行，什么形式？是否还要另外提交公证材料？因为不想让HR部门提前知道辞职的事情。
2，不知是否了解Duke MBA全自费的签证形式如何，如果存款cover两年所有费用是不是一般问题不大？

Here are some points to start with:

1 - Transition: DCSSA website (杜克大学中国学生学者联谊会). Under "New Comers" section, there are many useful materials for how to get prepared for transition. http://dukechina.org/blog/topics/3-new-comers

2 - Academics: if you are pure Fine Arts background, a BASIC level preparation of statistics and microeconomics is very helpful.

想问一下, Duke有没有可能安排电话面试？ 今天收到邮件，R2的面试安排在二月初，这么短的时间，很难安排从新加坡飞回上海或北京。不知道有没有什么办法？谢谢。

Hi silvia03. In light of my personal experience, I would say a phone interview is certainly ok. Just email Anne Caitlin to ask for it.
