-- by 会员 maxdaddy (2010/1/17 2:53:11) 嗨。 就普通一个商科的master吗 -- by 会员 bigskings (2010/1/17 7:45:39) I had only a Canadian undergraduate dergee (not from the Toronto area) without any internship. My first job allowed me to buy a used mazda and live in a cheaper place in a small town. My current job allows me to afford a new luxury suv and a better condo in Toronto. I have some friends in Alberta. I know there are some attractive policies there. For example: 1. If you buy a house/condo there and live for two years and when you leave, the property price drops, the government will make up for the difference. In other words, you won't lose a penny. 2. No provincial sales tax, things are cheaper there. 3. One-bracket tax rate. So for people with high-income, the tax benefit is exceptional! I have friends workign in private banking, insurance, gas, mining, and nuclear, all those energy industries in Alberta. Incomes are way higher, tax are much less than most of their peers in Ontario. But the trade-off is the weather there is harsh in winter. With Rocky mountain blocking all the warm air from the west, Alberta may not be the most ideal place to live during winter. -- by 会员 maxdaddy (2010/1/19 2:41:07)
