我觉得4)是D,         5)是B。。

啊,我刚刚认真察看了 xiaobushi 让我下载的那个文本。


可是4,5题的答案真如Pcliu MM说说,答案是:B, C


为什么呀??这次真不懂了。。

我的答案or解释:

我的答案为B.

我的答案为D. gain 作为Vt, 后接control这个名词. increasing 作为adj.修饰control

I think this one is B, should use "presents" instead, right?

    7)                         The brightly colored kingfisher that perches until it sights a fish, then dives into the water to catch its prey.     (I chose C, since I thought we don’t use a determiner before “water”, but my answer was wrong…


我的答案为B. 此句缺少谓语. that应该去掉


    






8)                         Prehistoric villagers tended to work harder, suffer from more diseases, and eat the poorer diet than nomadic hunters did.         (I chose B because the tense of “tended” is not parallel to “suffer” and “eat”; then I thought the answer should be C since we don’t use “the” before poorer…)


我的答案为D. work, suffer eat 为并列.     the 改为a

我的答案为B: finance






12)             The Hopi, descendants of the prehistoric Anasazi people, are a Pueblo people who of the southwestern United States. (i chose C)


我的答案为D. People 作为一个民族时是可数的. 后面的定语从句无谓语.






13)Cyclamates were introduced in the early 1950’s as alternative sweeteners for use by individuals who needed reducing their sugar intake for medical reasons.     (i chose B)






    我的答案为B. for use 改为used
