qyqing, your background looks competitive. My stats: G 730, T280, 5.5 WE (3 years in China, 2.5 year in Canada), have a short entrepreneur experience. I'm not the adcom, but I    think you can be more aggressive in trying to get off the WL -- send in recent update on your new achievement, and send in additional essays (esp Why CMU). Good luck!
