OG对于A项的解释：  When more is used in the comparative form of an adjective (more difficult) or adverb (more likely), it is followed by than.  In this context, more likely is not a complete idiomatic expression.


按OG这么说，是不是可以理解为 more likely 后面一定要有than？？
但是在prep破解中，曾经出现过more likely 后面没有than的情况啊...

more likely这里后面的than...是不是被省略了呢？ 就像题目中的A选项， 因为后置了。。而more likely than的比较的是前面那句话。。。。

而且A的to begin as的时态也不对啊～

more likely可以单独使用， 是“更容易，更倾向于”的意思。
放入原句的语境中意思明显不对。
