seanql, good question, personally I think only contact financial aid director is OK. (convincing two person is more difficult than convincing one.)--not sure who will have the power to make the final decision about money.
Moreover, is it necessary that sending school a formal letter, a fax or just an email?
I got some scholarship by pointing it out directly in the interview, my point is 1. I've got several offers already, they have the same level of reputation, so the financial aspect is my main concern now 2, the scholarship can make the Visa easier.
Although the scholarship is not much, but I don't want to request the school for more. It's one-time shoot, heat it, wonderful. I don't want the American have a bad impression about our Chiese students.
It is about tolerance. Some people would love for everyone to act like atheists; others would like everyone to be Christian. We don't need an athest or a Christian one --- we need tolerance! Every thing will be ok! ---I told myself in this way, as I was dinged by higher rank schools, but accepted by lower one. I know what I have to expect to.
