这道题我选c，但是解说说应该选d，并且说在a b c中，what和it都是what从句的主语，结构错误。
不太懂。。

这里what 引导的句子做from的宾语（是不是宾语亚？@_@）. what 在what从句里面做主语。 所以what 从句里面再加上it作主语就重复了！  

比如说：
I know what you like.      对。 这里what 作like 的宾语。 what 引导的从句作know的宾语。
I know what you like it.   错

from后面应该接名词，使用what引导名词性从句。
C的结构很混乱。
1.如你所说，what在名词性从句里是作成分的，正常状态下我们都说it appears to be，改为名词性从句就成为what appears to be，what代替了it的成分。而肯定不能有双主语的。
2.have been很突兀，如非要用完成时的话，have appeared to be更好吧。
3.逻辑意思混乱，虽然后半句的并列结构语法上没啥大问题，可以表示为what is stunning evidence。但是这句的意思是stunning evidence解释说明这个场地的。而非并列的意思。
