求助，double 的用法： OG 11黄 4题

想请问答案D中的double,是不是做动词，是的话做什么成分呢？

这里修饰的对象是 ministers， 是人，不是数，不能用twice，故排除A，B
同时也与E的a number矛盾，排除E。
考察C中的what it was这里的it还是暗指数字，所以它用了单数，也排除。
D中的figure我也理解是数，而且来个for 1997，我就晕了

查证过double可以做v.t.也可以做v.i. 但是好像看到过LZM的语法书上说double只能做v.i.
The federal government has doubled its tax on liquor.
Our house has doubled in value since we bought it.

同等大牛指点。
