答案是E， 我对that 能不能省略有疑问。 ETS的解释是The pronoun that in A and B should be deleted, since the pronoun one is sufficient to introduce the modifier and the sentence is more fluid without that.

我想问在A,B,中 they believe 做什么成分？ that 又做什么成分？有人解释说that 在定语从句中做从句中的宾语，所以可以省略，那么that 是做believe的宾语吗？ 但是又有人解释说they believe 是插入语，这样一来，that 不就成了从句中的主语了，如果是这样，那么one that they believe is of a type .....对不对呢？

one是同位语,而后做了定语从句的宾语(也就是believe的宾语),所以that可以不要,而且explosion不=一个type,只能属于一个type,就是of a type

that就是指代one啊~那one做了宾语,也就是that做了宾语,定语从句先行词作为宾语的时候,是可以省略that的~
