请问Dani， Haas商学院是否像论坛上所描述的HBS或者Kellogg、Chicago那样有非常明显的对申请人背景的偏好？

创业型的人申请到Haas的几率如何？

因为我本人的工作经历很普通，与金融、投行和咨询都无关，但创业方面稍有成果，先后做过两家公司，目前发展勉强ok。所以比较关心Haas对创业申请人的态度，谢谢。

Haas 为 international student 提供无需co-signer的贷款，利率固定6.80%，但最多只有每年两万美金，所以是不足以支付全部学费的；其他部分你还得自筹。

Berkeley Full-Time MBA Loan ProgramIn response to the changes in the marketplace and the resulting difficulty of international students to secure educational loans when needed, we have set aside funding to create a new Berkeley MBA Student Loan Program that will provide no-cosigner loans for US and international students in the Full-time MBA Program at Berkeley. Modeled on the Federal Direct Loan, the Berkeley MBA Loan Program will provide no-cosigner loans of up to $20,000 per year with an interest rate of 6.80% and repayment terms of up to ten years. No interest accrues while the recipient is in the program, and repayment begins six months after graduation. Though one of the intentions of the loan is to assist in paying tuition and fees, as with other educational loans, the funds may be used for other educational expenses.

supplementary question里面第四题是啥意思，要写点啥？
4. Please explain all gaps in your employment since earning your university degree


还有第三题，是不是就把简历里面的一部分复制过来，我觉得有点重复...
3.List full-time and part-time jobs held during undergraduate or graduate studies


Optional question里面的第二题要不要写呢？不知道admin了解这个是啥目的？
Please provide the occupation of, and highest degree obtained by, your parent(s) or guardian(s).

Haas发Interview Invitation后会要求寄学历证书和成绩单的原件以及翻译. 成绩单没有问题, 原件和翻译件都有. 只是不清楚这个学历证书应该怎么寄. 以下这段话是Application Instruction里的:

You must also submit an official degree certificate as evidence of the conferral of each degree, diploma, or professional title. Degree certificates must be issued in the original language. Official translations must be included and should indicate the exact name of the degree, diploma, or title as it is known in the country of origin and not in US terms.

Degree certificates are similar to a diploma in that they indicate the degree conferred, date of conferral and granting institution, but they are not a diploma. Please do not send your original diploma or a copy of your diploma.

标蓝色的两句话看得我有点晕, 又要Official的, 又不是原件, 也不能是Copy, 那应该如何操作呢?

想问问两年的学费加生活费总共大概多少呢？

第四题就是解释你简历里大学毕业以后任何有时间断档的地方，比如说你的第一份工作是毕业半年后才开始的，那你就要说明一下这半年你干嘛了。类似的任何两份工作之间如果有比较长的空档（比如3个月以上）你都最好解释一下
第三题就是给你个空间写写学生期间的实习等等。很多人简历上没有地方放这些东西（工作经验比较多的申请人）。
optional的那个题，很多学校都会问类似的，比如说你父母是不是校友之类的，总之是让学校对你的家庭背景有些了解吧。说白了你要是达官显贵任何学校都会对你的申请更重视一些的，很多学校招的没有（或者很少）工作经验的学生不少就是这样的背景

这儿有一个学校的费用估计。你还可以把$2500的课本费用抛去，基本上不用买教材，到图书馆读就是了。
学校官方提供的loan上限是一年$20,000，其它的就是需要co-signer的商业贷款了。
申请材料要好好包装，Haas Merit Scholarship是直接按照申请材料和面试表现来评定的，最高是学费全免（全奖），也有半奖，学校说总共有10%的学生可以获得，我的感觉是好像比这个比例要稍微高一些，身边不少朋友都拿了奖学金。

本来想申请Haas，一看贷款只有这么点，只能却步。。
