446.        It may be another fifteen years before spacecraft from Earth again venture to Mars, a planet now known to be cold, dry, and probably lifeless.

(A) again venture to Mars, a planet now known to be

(B) venture to Mars again, a planet now known for being

(C) will venture to Mars again, a planet now known as being

(D) venture again to Mars, a planet that is known now to beA

(E) will again venture to Mars, a planet known now as being

还有again venture to Mars和venture again to Mars有什么区别?

在这里,D的that is就明显比A啰嗦。 + that is adj.就不如adj. + n.

另外,now known to be这个now所在的位置一般大家都这么说啊,我是从来没看到过known now to be这个顺序。

now这个词

It may be another fifteen years before spacecraft from Earth again venture to Mars, a planet now known to be cold, dry, and probably lifeless.

(A) again venture to Mars, a planet now known to be

(B) venture to Mars again, a planet now known for being

(C) will venture to Mars again, a planet now known as being

(D) venture again to Mars, a planet that is known now to beA

(E) will again venture to Mars, a planet known now as being

His studies of ice-polished rocks in his Alpine homeland, far outside the range of present-day glaciers, led Louis Agassiz in 1837 to propose the concept of an age in which great ice sheets had existed in now currently temperate areas.

(A) in which great ice sheets had existed in [bgcolor=#ffed43]now
currently temperate areas

(B) in which great ice sheets existed in what are now temperate areas

(C) when great ice sheets existed where there were areas now temperate

(D) when great ice sheets had existed in current temperate areas

(E) when great ice sheets existed in areas now that are temperate
