这道题不明白它像表达什么，我选的是B答案是E,仔细想想有以下几个问题：

1 ）e后面的by  which ，这个which应该指代的是 the kind of curiosity 吧，但这the kind of curiosity在从句中做什么成分呢？难道说是

new patterns of behavior and expression can be passed on from one to another by imitation and practice by the kind of curiosity?

 

2）为什么A/B 不对呢？

IMO, grammtically you are right in your understanding of "by curioisty".....but 一般我们用正确选项的做法，把他换成这个结构，因为同时2个BY 有逻辑层次。

我认为首先是，collected 就说明后面不能用will了吧，然后，which你说的应该对，用so that 不好。最后就是，XDF不是号称，后面是有完整主谓的句子用定语从句比较好吗~~
