两个SC白勇题疑问

答案是D，但是我觉得B比较合理，因为D的意思是like后面省略了do吧，但是like后面是不可以跟句子的啊，还有 be able to和could在这里有区别么？

第一题：

1）be able to be done永远错，有能力被做。。

2）be able to do 表主观；can表客观，gmat中用客观

(A) are able to be programmed to think like people-be able to be done 错
(B) were able to be programmed to think as people -be able to be done错，as people作为人，至少也要改成as people do
(C) can be programmed to think as people can - can 不对，要改成do
(D) could be programmed to think like people -正确
(E) are capable of being programmed to think like people do -be capable of，wordy，being wordy

第二题的B,

The proposed health care bill would increase government regulation of health insurance,establishing standards that would guarantee wider access to people with past health problems and to workers (who are changing jobs and otherwise could be uncovered for months.)-划线的那2个是平行对称的，后面括号里是后置定语修饰workers的，所以uncovered是指的workers, who are changing jobs and (who) otherwise could be uncovered for months.

16题哦~~ be able to/与 could的区别是be able to表示有能力做  could 表示可能性  按逻辑说 B就变成了 电脑有能力被编程 ，不合理哈 。这里的like 做介词，介词后不加主谓结构 的。

18题呢~~uncovered表示没上保险，作定语，指的就是workers

先说第一个，正确选项应该是D。be able to表示一种主动的能力，而can/could表示能够，有时也表示推测的可能性。这里could就是用作can的过去时态，因为前面有during the late 1950's.like people不是句子的省略，这里比较的是computer和people得相同动作think。表示都有能力完成这一动作，like+n就可以表示比较，因为表示的是相同elements.OG里面有一道大黄蜂和蜜蜂sting的比较题类似~

第二题里面，就是指workers，意思是说那些正在换工作的人（暂时失业），因此会失保一段时间（因为暂时没有工作）

谢谢veraonroad的解释。unlike放在句首肯定没问题，比如黄蜂那道题，呵呵，不过like放在句中我都会比较小心，怕是引导句子，不过这次物极必反了，哈哈
