Sounds like Columbia's essay. It really depends on what you want to do in the future. If you want to do finance, focus on the financial analysis aspects of all your jobs. If you want to do management, then focus on how you managed people... If you want to do consulting, focus on your leadership, vision, motivational skills. You DON'T have to write about every job; write about the relevant ones. What you did should be summarized into 1/3 to 2/5 of your essay. The rest should be about what your future plans (short term and long term) plans. A good portion should be focused on how the MBA and the particular school can help you achieve your goals. |
