[求助]多次转行的essay怎么搞啊？

希望大家给建议，这几天写essay写到崩溃，因为工作过3个单位，咨询公司1年-石油公司3.5年-信息公司2.5年，干的都是marketing。我的essay 的career goal是基于最后一个信息公司的经历写的，essay的题目是short-term goal and long-term goal。我需要把前两家公司的经历都写进essay里吗？因为和最最后一家联系不上，只是工作内容相似，怎么弄啊？是所有这种career goal的essay都要从头到尾把工作过的company 穿成线写一遍吗？还是可以只写最后一家，前面的不提？

在论坛里没有找到这种多个单位情况的

貌似你对goal的理解有误，我认为goal是说你未来的目标，而不是说你过去制定的目标。比如，我过去是扫大街的，但是我现在的目标是做marketing大牛。我过去是卖盗版的，我现在的目标是做HR大牛。或者我过去是宇航员，我现在想当总会计师。

但是楼主的意思是，如何把自己的career path穿起来吧。简单的只写以后的目标，别人会认为你是个目标性不强的人。。。

Sounds like Columbia's essay.  It really depends on what you want to do in the future.  If you want to do finance, focus on the financial analysis aspects of all your jobs.  If you want to do management, then focus on how you managed people...  If you want to do consulting, focus on your leadership, vision, motivational skills.  You DON'T have to write about every job; write about the relevant ones.  What you did should be summarized into 1/3 to 2/5 of your essay. 

The rest should be about what your future plans (short term and long term) plans.  A good portion should be focused on how the MBA and the particular school can help you achieve your goals.
