可是the temperatures are so cold 和the ice cap is so reflective 不是两个句子的并列么？两个句子并列，若第一个句子中有be 或become，则第二个句子中必须省略不是么？那这里为什么cap后面的is不省略呢？

还是说，这里是因为 so that 句型的关系，is就不能省略了？

求教求教～～～

我的理解是，可以省略的情况为:and前后两个并列成分的主语一致，比如说：I am excited and (am)happy.

可是原句中，and前后成分的主语不一致，一个the temperatures, 一个the ice cap.

大家一起讨论啊。

可是白勇的书里面有一题是

state health officials have ordered that the levels of bacteria in seawater at popular beaches be measured and the results published.

这里level和result并列，这个并不是同主语的啊

看GWD5-1，正确答案是

划线省略be动词，和前一句的主语，be形式都不一样啊

顶起来，我觉得这题还有讨论，到底白勇说的两个句子并列，若第一个句子中有be 或become，则第二个句子中必须省略能不能作为定理用在GMAT中？马上就考试了，困惑，求解！
