答案 C，想问为什么C中depending没有做定语修饰TREE，又能做状语修饰后面从句谓语的歧义？谢谢回答！

首先depending没有做定于 ing做后置定语是要跟在名词后面的是没有逗号的 the girl sitting there坐在那的女孩儿

其次 如果做定语的话就改变了逻辑意思 a single tree depending on its size and on climate and altitude

言下之意你把tree分成两种了 一种是要受its size and on climate and altitude的tree

一种是a single tree not depending on ...

换言之，你给本来的tree加了限定词 就改变了句子的主语 主语包括名词本身还有它的限定词 例如a girl与a girl sitting there完全不一样 

Thus会改变原句意思 这是不对的

最后 C中没有做定语 没有歧义
