请教为何不选择E，我做的时候先选出了between的两个选项，然后排除D选择了E，感觉是一开始方向就错了，弱弱地问NN们between和in 如何抉择？？

我感觉between应该是两者之间，而how引导的名词性从句表达的不是两者的意思，逻辑意思上有误。这道题从主谓一致（differences 与help一致）和惯用（help A do B）下手容易一些，因为differences一般和between搭配常见一些，是一个迷惑选项。

我觉得也可以从help着手，help ... determine 是对的。
在a,c中选择。c主动被动相杂，不合适。
