关于美国学校的人性化

提出这个问题是因为申请中遇到很多人性化的东西，感触颇深


1，申请了4个学校，除了第一个，其它三个都延期了足足15天到20天。写信过去后解释原因，基本第二天就会有回信：我们理解palapalapala..,准！其实每次都是偷懒的缘故，看他们如此understanding和信任，到后来自己都觉得不好意思了


2，无论是校友还是招生办、director都很热情，写信过去，第二天基本有回音；并且不管内容如何，一视同仁的认真。给simon写了好几封关于同一件事的EMAIL，那位叫chris的女士也很耐心，反反复复的解释


3，打电话过去也很nice，留了言都会回


和国内的大学招生态度比比，感触更深,sigh!

是分学校的吧。运气了你，你申请的正好都是讲人性化，program又小的吧。


有没有谁给Leeciao举几个反面的例子的啊？没有吗，不过我想到一个正面的例子,UMBS。

They are all cold-blooded, at least to me.


It is funny. I once wrote an email to one school at the begining of the month, no any response. Then I had to do sth, which proved to be unnecessary later. And then, I wrote another email to the school and told    it that I had mailed sth to them. At the end of the month, this school    replied my first email and said "You don't need to mail them to us"    . SHIT!!!!! I don't like the school any longer and even hope it refuses me.


DIFFERENT PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT STORIES.

Nice school: Chicago, Wharton.


Not so nice school:    UCLA.

Do you mean you submitted the application 20 days after the deadline and it was still accepted? That's not easy. How did you make it?

Yes;


Just emailed to them and explained why you have to delay: business schools ( at least the four i applied) are nice and understanding and i think they would like to attract as many as applicants therefore would give applicants an opportunity to get in the bs~

给YALE电话,态度也很友好......好像没有碰到不友好的啊,,,呵呵.

    刚才打了个电话给GSB的DEAN，觉得他挺不耐烦的，sigh!
