答案是C，解释上说D错是因为but does not看上去更像thromboxane的谓语，和is a并列。

好吧，我承认有这个说法，但它不能作为一个明显的排出选项的原因吧，至少在考试时我不敢这么选。

请教D选项的其他错误？

谢谢，看来还是要从意思上去仔细辨别，在GMAT中很多时候主谓宾优于主系表吧，如同这题的C和D？

好像没有主谓宾优于主系表这一说吧，意思要总体上把握的

但这题的不定式是一个常考点

 to do两个用法：1.表将来 2.表目的 这题中无论哪个用法意思都不对的，LZ多做题后自然能体会

还有substance的时候用 to do意思不对，但goal的时候就要用goal is to do，这类固定用法也要多总结
