本题中，carefully coordinating...放在了in her book illustrations和capitalized....中间，既可以以做定语修饰illustrations, 也可以做伴随壮语修饰capitalized。因此必须改变它的位置。按照逻辑，应该修饰illustrations。所以选C。

E中，coordinated和capitalized用and平行了起来，可以共同做定语就近修饰illustrations，也可以共同作谓语修饰主语Beatrix Potter，所以还是很不清楚到底修饰什么。错。

因此，以此推理，凡是分词短语放在了两个短语或句子中间的，都有“修饰模糊”的问题。肯定错。

我怎么感觉E里面只能做谓语解释（否则整段话就没有谓语了），然后改变语义，所以错。。。

同意楼上的。E 里面的 不能作修饰 illustrations的定语，否则就是没有谓语的完全错误句子。并且 A B中 coordinating现在分词短语也不可能作为illustration的定语，因为illustration不可能主动coordinate.  OG的解释就是说 coordinating跟在illustration后面 就是illogically modify了，因此错误。 E 更多是不是 并列了 coorinate 和capitalize,  改变了句子结构和重心呢？

我怎么觉得原句的中心在强调in her book illustrations 呢？因为如果不表强调，原句完全可以写成7楼写出的样子啊。而且C中的前半句In her book illustrations, which she carefully coordinated with her narratives,如果不是表强调是不是显得太头重脚轻了呢？
