A是平行最工整的, they look..., or have..., but are...

意思上也没有歧义, 唯一不好的地方就是often green and striped离修饰语太远. 不过根据逻辑意思, 同位语"often green and striped"不能修饰cousins, 因为前文已经说了cousins是red and round了. 番茄给人的印象就是又红又圆的, often green and striped放在cousins后面并不影响读句, 至少我读这个句子很顺.

E的but后面有个they, 不但多余, 也影响读句, 破坏了句子的平行:

they are..., or have..., but they are...

再加上they前面还有两个复数名词bumps and bruises, 有指代不清的嫌疑.

A句里面逻辑地位上look less appetizing和have plenty of bumps and bruises无法并列，因为have plenty of bumps and bruises是look less appetizing的原因之一，应该跟often green and striped。而且often green and striped确实离被修饰的tomatos太远了，反而会就近修饰（就进修饰逻辑也合理，这时候就产生歧义了）
