I have heard that Rotman prefer finance background applicants and require a >=5.0 TWE. Is it a must?
twe>=5.0 is must. you can find it in the website.
I am not sure whether it prefer finance background applicants or not, but I am with 5 years w/e in finance field. gmat:690, toefl:617(twe:5.5). not high score.
Didi, in your case, I think you have been put into their waiting list. You'd better provide them your other documents which help them make a final decision.
If they decline your application you should have received it. One of my friends got the decline news soon after he submitted the application.
Not all foreigners are nice as what you think. Different schools have different styles. Even in the same schools, different officers are not same. Be patient, but keep your dignity. Never beg them, but ask or request them because we spend our money, time and feeling on it. We are not beggars. We are professionals.
Rotman is tough as well. However, comparing with IVEY's case study, IMO you will feel a little bit better in Rotman. Anyway, if you don't want tough study, choose York.
Don't expect they will reply your email if you are not accepted yet. Call them directly.
Thanks, I appreciate these words and that's why I was an auditor. I certainly won't beg them, hehe. Frankly, I've never expected to be admitted by Rotman or Ivey. Both of them are my dreams, I am just so so so... lucky with such a low background.
