我觉得还是有问题，one of the three best novels ever written by sb. 中的one 的确是 one of the three best novels 的 中心词（A of B 结构），但是后面的 ever written by sb. 的 sb. 是修饰 three best novels 的，所以不应该用  a black american

我也有同感，这和刘振民语法讲的完全相反，刘振民说one of A后面的定语肯定是修饰A的。不过楼上有人提过a black american和black americans没区别，这个倒是有道理，因为都是泛指，刘振民好像提过只有泛指和特指的区别。。。那么就是说这两个的区别根本不能区别正确选项。。。。不知道我这么理解对么，亟待大牛揭晓。。。。

另外我还是不明白破折号的用法，不是解释说明么？为什么一定要the others对应呢？？另外这个being就更玄乎了，先不说不是介词加being done,也不是being做主语，这个being究竟可以怎么用，能有个大牛来做个详细总结么？？

这里的written by black Americans修饰的是three best novels，如果前面改成only one才是用written by a black American 修饰one的吧

-这里主要强调的是前后平衡，因为主语是书'XX's Cane', 那么后面比较的也必须是书。于是ACD就排除了。
-剩下BE中，B使用including的话，主语是Cane，明显不对。于是剩下了E
-至于应该使用Black Americans or a Black American，这里从意思上其实都可以解释通。应该更多关注意思和结构，而不要陷入一些语法的定式中。

PS： dash的作用是强调或者讽刺，用法和comma一样。这里就是为了强调另外两本书。

-the others being Richard Wright's Native Son and Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man 中使用being是一个分句的动词，如果省略的话，就会使意思不通.
