有个从伦敦回来的朋友 像他咨询了一下 说现在中国人lbs就业不太好

从今年MBA找intern的情况来看，中国人还可以（7个大陆的至少5个找到了），想在欧洲找的也能找到（金融业除外）。不过总体来说跟往年是没法比的，毕竟市场的情况摆在那里。

I applied for LBS MBA2009 entry at the round 4 (the last round) and just received the interview invitation.

Would you please tell me something about the interview? Who will be my interviewer(alumni, admission office, etc.)? will the interviewer read my application essay before the interview? what kind of questions will the interviewer ask in general?...

Hi may I ask a few questions here.....

1. normally how big is the class size?

2. how does MBA compare to the MiF progamme in LBS? Kind of cannnot decide between these two....

3. does a LBS MBA help in finding a job in Hong Kong finance field (based on previous years' experience...)? The alumni resources etc.....

4. LBS ranks no 2 by FT, which attracts a lot of criticism...what is its ranking by US sources?? 

Quite like UK actually.... Many thanks for any advice!

Cong for your interview first! 面试大概持续一个到两个小时，主要是考察申请者和学校之间的fit，interviewer基本上都是近年毕业的校友，他们肯定会在面试前认真读你的essay。另外在最后会有一个5分钟命题presentation，不过这个不是非常重要。Good luck!

1. 2009年入学的会有5个stream，总共400人

2. 两个programme都是要求有若干年工作经验的，MIF是面向那些一心想进金融业的同学，而MBA的就业面更广。MBA是两年的项目，机会成本更高，但是因为可以做intern，所以更适合career switcher

3. 当然了，前两年市场好的时候每年去HK投行的大把大把，今年市场差了很多，但是还是有一些同学拿到HK投行的offer。LBS在亚洲的alumni大部分在HK

4. 萝卜青菜各有所爱，排名这东西不可能让所有人都满意的。实话实话，LBS在很多方面还是比不上传统的顶级MBA的，比如说HBS，这个和创办时间，校友网络，学术传统等都是有关系的。所以说，FT的排名反映的学校在这几年的进步，但是不会有哪个LBS的学生真的以为自己是天下第一了（今年LBS在FT的排名是并列第一）。说到排名，其实这个跟国内的大学一样，一个学校内部学生之间的差距远远大于顶级学校之间平均水平的差距。BTW就我所知美国的那些排名都不把国际学校排进来。

应该是面试官选择题目的。不用紧张，这个我理解更多是考察你基本的presentation skills，所以题目都应该是大家比较熟悉的内容，你的presentation内容上只要能够比较有逻辑的说出一二三就可以了。
