(B) a vantage point, when combined with her talent for writing, that made  a vantage point引导的同位语从句，但是后面不是一个完整的句子。that 指代有问题。根据意思是“a vantage point” made...., 这里的that 不能越过前面的when 从句指代a vantage point. 句式结果混乱，层次不清晰。所以B不对
(C) a vantage point that combined with her talent for writing, and it made   It的指代不清，可能是talent ,也可能是a vantage point. 2) a vantage 作为前面from..to 时间的同位语，不合适。
(D) and this vantage point, which combined with her talent for writing to make  1)and 连接并列句，问题在于to make, 见A。
(E) and this vantage point, combined with her talent for writing, made   正确。 and 连接并列句   Becasue....., Mercy Otis was.... and this vantage point made.....
