楼上这样写清楚很多，但是文中哪里有这样的暗示呢？so又在这里指代什么呢？

看了楼上gg的讲解，有些启发；现在我来小结一下，欢迎指正。

通过A选项，首先确定比较对象，

本题讲的是women who took new jobs 和 women who retire completely 之间的比较。一个than引出比较对象，比较题型的突破口。

C选项， than 后面those who retired 清晰引出另一个比较对象，否则会像A/ B选项那样引起歧义。并且who retire 和who took  new jobs 形式对应，时态对应；so指代前面句子的所讲的内容，一个泛指的概念

C D 错在直接改变句子的比较对象，成为satisfaction 的比较，而不是women的比较

补充说明，A B，more than引导比较同位语从句，修饰前面的satisfaction,犯了和D E 一样的错误。因此，本题关键点——是比较对象的确定
