well..i never heard this situation before. sort of wired.... 2(1) no need to show up the work certificate to the school in your application. however, some schools will check out your background, which you provided in your resume,after you get the AD or offer yet before you go to USA. (2) it will definetely not influence your application. (3) i think you'd better keep your job. the difference between 22 hours and 17 hours does not make big different for your GMAT preperation. and it also might bring you some negative influence in your application if you quit for a long time to prepare the exam only.
