1. Housing的话是不是on-campus的比较好，所以才要抽签？有1000多美元到700美元的价格，是不是越贵的越好？有MIT前辈能稍微介绍下housing的情况吗？

2. MIT不发paper的package？一切都是在incoming student网站上完成的吗？奖学金如果录取信里面没提就是没有了吗？

3. Verification 都怎么check，和HR以及推荐人通电话吗？不想让HR知道我情况怎么办？自己如果有创业的话，需要提供什么证明材料吗？好提前准备。有前辈能介绍下这个过程吗？

i am opting for on-cam housing. anyone thinking about taking alternative loans or have taken out any of the MIT reccomanded loan programs? any suggestions on which one to go with and further details on how the process works?

请问楼主MIT的background check是kroll做么？要不要自己交钱？

如果是的话应该是查上两个工作和学历，不用太操心，只要不是无中生有就没关系。
