另外补充一下 如果要用prohibiting 那些选项 就需要有逗号在前面， 那样就是the company required each employee to sign a confidentiality agreement    ,        prohibiting the employee from doing something.

这个时候 prohibiting的主语是the company  可以用 prohibit them from doing  而不能说 prohibit the disclosure...

定语从句强调的是一次性的行为，而动名词作修饰强调的是一个主动的持续的状态，政府的法令、法规内容常常用动名词修饰。此处是agreement,协议的内容也应该是持续的，所以动名词优于定语从句。
同样的结构也出现在新prep的另一道题里面：

sign 和 prohibit 和关系是一个有时间先后的因果的关系


而如果用that 从句让prohibit来修饰agreement， 强调的就是这个agreement 的属性，


to sign an agreement to prohibit 强调prohibit
to sign an agreement which prohibits 强调修饰agreement
to sign an agreement prohibiting 这个虽然是上面定于从句的简化，但是也有先后的关系

语法上考虑,E的被动应该没有错误. 较C而言,C的表达更为concise，‘防止披露’即prohibit sth 好于E的“防止水处理什么（被披露）” 语义逻辑意思上确实C要好于E，再其次就是a company 和any company的区别后者好一些了
