UCLA-waitlist是不是就没希望了？

刚刚被ucla给wl了。查看了相关的说明，说要到第三轮decision day6月4号才能给结果，还说不要提交任何aditional materials.

请教哪位大侠：

1、ucla的wl对于大陆学生来说是不是基本没戏了？我是一个non-typical申请者，商业背景不强，non-typical没被录取是不是说明我本身弱，而不是对手强？这样wl是不是也没有什么机会呢？

2、我可以找到中国一个现任部长级、对我也很了解的人给我写supporting letter, 有这个必要吗？或者说写了有用吗？会不会反而是反作用？

3、6月4号出结果，就算是录取，是不是也来不及办签证了？

请各位赐教！严重感谢！

LZ, don't be panic; it does not help anything. Be mature, and calm down in the first place. To your question 2, you need to actively contact school, and see if additional recommendation is acceptable and encouraged. Plus, I recommend you to do a campus visit - this is definitely not additional material, but additional effort. You wanna show that you really love the school, and would like to have a first-hand touch. There are tons of things to do while on campus - attending classes, chatting with your targetted club leaders, and probably sharing your experiences and goals with relevant professors. Good luck!
