OG解释，关于平行结构

OG的解释中常提到be动词连接的两边结构的平行，比如：

The noun attempt could follow organism’s; also, it would parallel the noun enzymes, and parallelism is needed here because the sentence uses the linking verb are to equate enzymes and attempt.


我不太能理解这种平行，这是一种什么样的平行呢？有什么规则吗？

最糟糕的是我没有LZM，这里也买不到。


其实对于第一句我还比较能理解，但是第二句中，the production of enzymes that are the organism’s     attempt                                             that从句做定语修饰enzymes，怎么能要求attempt和enzymes平行呢？

n.表明的是一种状态，或者是动作的结果


动名词则表示一种动作


enzymes是一种尝试的结果。而不是尝试动作本身。

没错，这么理解好象就比较能想通了。只是这种平行不象其它的平行那样比较容易看出来。
