I am writing to inform you that the Admissions Committee of the Simon Graduate School of Business has reviewed your application, and after careful consideration, decided to postpone a final decision on your admission until later in the admissions cycle. Therefore, we have placed your application on our wait list. The Committee will notify you immediately if a place in the entering class becomes available. We ask for your e-mail confirmation within 10 days to confirm your interest in remaining on our waiting list. We will provide a final decision no later than June 1, 2009.

As I am sure you are aware, admission to the Simon School is highly competitive. Please be assured however, that the Committee finds your application impressive and it is being given every consideration. I would be happy to talk with you if you have questions. We very much appreciate your interest in the Simon School.
