香港前面3个学校的top applicant好像都不错，high GPA,GT,  strong rls and exchange experience, 
前30甚至偶尔前10的样子

For a young female, location is very very important. People you see everyday and the environment you work and live directly affect your emotion, your passion to study, your willingness to do research. You still want to enjoy your life during your 5 years study, right?

I strongly suggest you go to a school in west coast or east coast if you can get offer from USC, etc. At least, you should visit UIUC and see whether you like there.
