Hi,Skydra, in my admission letter, the school actually recommends me to enroll to English Language program prior to commencing my study in Sep. So base on your experience, do you think it is worthwhile attending this program or you actually skip it to join the study in Sep directly? thanks

A: That program is a great program if you don't consider the money. Up to now, I know most of my classmates from that program. However, 5000 some dollars are really not cheap.
I was required to take that program. I could not skip it. I know if someone is recommended, he/she has the option to skip it or not.

Skydra, thanks for your answer. You are right , 5000+ extra expense is really a concern.

I will not participate in the English Language program due to the too expensive fee.

Skydra: 1. For most China students, is there any chance to land job in U.S.?

        2. Is there any possibliliy to negotiate with the adimission office about the scholarship? if we do not satisfy with the scholarship?

        3. You mentioned that the daily life is kind of boring,could you pls share the student life in Rochester with us?
